Data collection:

Data collection

The first step to both quantitative and qualitative analysis is having some data to look at.  Deciding how to gather data or how to categorise data that you may already have can be a daunting task as it is not always easy to know where to start.  GMT can help work with you to gather data that is appropriate for your specific goals.  We can also help categorise and make sense of information that you already have, turning it into data that you can assess.

Data collection:

Method Development

Many organisations collect a lot of data on different aspects of their work. For instance charities know who they fund and businesses know who they sell to.  Often this data does not help guide strategy simply because there is not method by which the organisations can use it.  GMT can work with organisations to develop bespoke methods to ensure effective strategies.  The GMT team has experience in developing methods to gather and assess data over a broad range of disciplines from research science to the charitable sector.

Data collection:

Industrial consultation

The GMT team has a wide breath of scientific experience that spans from academic research to industrial research. Using an evidence based approach GMT can work with industrial clients to improve outputs and to develop methodology to improve effectiveness.

Data collection:

Strategy consultation

Using quantitative methods to help with strategy can help increase organisational effectiveness.  GMT can work with clients to work towards more developing effective strategies using a data-based approach, using methods specifically designed to tackling complex strategic issues.
